Configuring Mac Mail

To set up your email address in Mac Mail follow these instructions. 

1Open up Mail then go to File > Add account

2A  new box will appear, enter your name, email address and password and then click continue.

3Now you will need to enter the Incoming Mail Server Details, you can choose either POP or IMAP from the first drop down menu, you can use either but we would recommend using IMAP

4Enter the description as the name for the account, then for incoming mail server enter : mail.mysmarterwebsite.co.uk, put the username as your email address and enter your password, then click continue.

5You will now need to enter your Outgoing Mail Server settings, for the Outgoing Mail Server enter: mail.mysmarterwebsite.co.uk, put the username as your email address and enter your password, then click create.
